This was the very first time we visit to Bali. And so lucky we known Wayan through my friend. We spent two days with Wayan and he's always on time bring us explored the beauty of Bali. Wayan's english is pretty good, you will feel comfortable and enjoyable together with him. We really have a pleasure and memorable honeymoon trip and thanks again bringing us to the Uluwatu Temple for the best sunset view ever! Even the distance abit far, hehe. Hope we will meet again! I was the lucky first person to stay in Wayan's new guest house at his families complex in Berawa, Canggu area. The location is literally 15 seconds from the surf break at Pantai Berawa. You can't get any better than this ... The bed is comfortable, the facilities are all new and their's a restaurant called Sukerti's about 10 seconds walk away that has some of the best food i've eaten in Bali. No joke. I just hope his guest house isn't booked up for my next trip back to Bali. And of course Wayan is a great host. Highly recommended. Richard.

Wayan took us around Bali on an 8-days-trip in July 2008. We have booked his service due to a recommendation of a friend and former client of Wayan. And we can say that we were lucky to have had such a pleasant guy as a guide.
From the very beginning he was not only a good and careful driver but also a responsible tour guide and very enjoyable companion who gave us an understanding of the Balinese culture and way of living. He is not only willing to share his thoughts and knowledge but is also interested in foreign countries and experiences so that talking and discussing with him is a real pleasure. He cares for his clients and makes any effort in meeting their wishes, e.g. looking for the right hotels and restaurants, arranging trekking and snorkelling trips, adjusting routes for spontaneous ideas, introducing different kinds of food and so on. We think that we have come to know much more about Bali because of the acquaintance with him than we would have if we had done the trip all by ourselves. Irrespective of the fact that is was much easier this way.
Bali has been a great experience!

Bali is a wonderful place! But,there is no question that for us, it was made so much better by our luck in having Wayan as our driver. He is smart, resourceful, organized, reliable, and just about any other superlative you can think of--including FUN! If you are going to be in Bali, a driver is essential if you want flexibility and freedom. Another bonus is that if you are interested in antiques or ethnic art, he knows all the best places. It would be hard to measure the added value we experienced because we toured with Wayan!

If you are looking for a driver to get from Point A to Point B, there are many available in Bali. BUT, if you want your Bali experience enhanced by a dependable, English-speaking guide/driver with a vast knowledge of his country's roads and customs--Wayan is your man.
Why drive in an unfamiliar Bali when Wayan can get you where you're going more directly than you probably could yourself, or to other special places if you have the time.
We loved that he could remember where we looked at a carving several days back and could return to the correct shop.
We were only in Bali a week and Wayan drove, interpreted, informed, joked and guided. He's a charming representative of a beautiful land who eased and enhanced our visit.
Would I want to include him and his services for my next Bali trip? Without Question!
